I'd say I'm not your average college student. I don't drink, I don't like to go to college parties, I'm not about that life. I'm not saying I haven't been to a party, I have, I didn't enjoy it.
I also took a year off between highschool and college, I worked in a daycare center for Toyota's employees. I took classes every other Saturday for 6 hours and earned my CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate)
Well, now that you know that let me introduce myself.
My name is Lydia, I'm 20 years old and I'm attending Northern Kentucky University.
I was homeschooled from 3rd grade through highschool. I'm not unsocialized, there are tons of homeschoolers in the area and I often took classes with other homeschoolers. I was also very good friends with lots of 'regular' schoolers.
From my house it takes 10 minutes to get to campus.
I didn't have any desire to go far away, but I did want to try out dorming so I'm currently living in the dorms on campus.
I have a wonderful relationship with my Mom and my family in general. I have a twin brother and three little siblings. I also have an older brother but he is not living at home right now.
I am still competing in gymnastics this year and have gymnastics practice twice a week, I'm not a high level but I really love doing it so why not continue!!
Well I think that satisfies a good introduction.
